Mexico
Mexico's locations are consistently ranked among the world’s best tourist destinations and for good reason- the natural beauty, the warmth of the people, its rich indigenous history make it a place where tourists and expats alike want to spend time.
The country has a varied landscape from high mountains and deep canyons in the middle of the country to rainforests in the south and east and deserts in the north. There is, as we say, “un poco de todo” - a little bit of everything. Layer the rich culture on top where you’ll often find festivals and celebrations in the street and you have an instant party. There is a joy in the daily life of spending time with family and friends. It is not surprising to walk down the street and hear the music playing and people singing and dancing.
And yet, so many people choose to listen to the media which says “Mexico is too dangerous”. Are there parts that are sketchy? Yes! Does that mean that the whole country is dangerous? No! You need to be careful. of course but that would be true of anywhere in the world you might go.
